An ideal individual has the knowledge and skills of welding carbon steel, stainless steel and galvanized steel between 18 gauge and 3/8” thick materials. Also, we need knowledgeable fitters who can do a simple fitting from 2D cad drawing as well as more complex layouts such as cyclones. Preferably the individual is located in the surrounding area and can commute to our location. Pay is at an hourly rate and based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, Metal Core, Flux Core, and Stick welding on metal components.
  • Interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely.
  • Inspect welds for quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient project completion.
  • Communicate issues to supervisor (i.e. equipment issues, maintenance needs)
  • Use various inspecting techniques and tools; tape measures, calipers, protractors, and weld gauges to check the conformance of produced parts.
  • Performs paperwork requirements and other duties as assigned and writes legibly.
  • Perform preventative operator level maintenance.
  • Always keep a clean workstation, free of wood, bands, trash, and defective parts.
  • You must pass a welding test prior to employment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 10/25/50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment most of the day.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
